The school library is central to learning that has a comprehensive collection of 1500+ books for students. The vast collection ranges from story books, reference and academic books, audio-visual materials, and journals and periodicals. Besides this, educational CDs, newspapers, magazines and reference materials are also available on various subjects.

The ambience of school library offers a perfect place for serious study and a peaceful place for light reading. The computers installed in the school library allow children to access online study material anytime. Each student is assigned with a library card and books are issued to the students through library management system. The books in library are managed by a qualified librarian who assists students in the selection of books appropriate for their age and standard.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB

English Lab works to improve communication and English learning skills of the students. English lab modules are designed to improve communication and grammar skills of the students.

Besides improving cognitive proficiency of English language and helping the students to expand their command over spoken as well as written English, The English lab also works towards improving listening and reading skills of the students.

Separate headphone and mike is provided to each student for privacy and personalized learning. While speaking skills of the students are developed with a style and accent internationally understood, their listening skills are also improved in several accents.

SCIENCE LABORATORY (PHY/CHEM/BIO)

The study of the history of science reveals the fact that experimental investigation forms the foundation of the growth and development of science. Demonstration of experiments, is quite important for understanding the principles of science. Performing experiments, however, is more important, because it involves “Learning By Doing”. By performing experiments in the laboratory, handling equipment or apparatus, doing measurements and developing the skills to acquire the data to analyse, to calculate and to present the result with permissible error keeping in mind the significant figures and proper units, is the main objective of working in the physics laboratory experiment forms the foundation of the growth and development of science.

The most enjoyable part of chemistry is experimentation. It gives maximum opportunity for discovery, which is the most exciting part of scientific activity. The experiment in the lab begins with designing the experiment and then performing it by controlling the conditions which affect the observations. Here, the students learn to handle apparatus and chemicals. They improve their understanding of various chemical reactions and chemical processes. It enables personal verification of important experimental facts.

The practical study is a supplement to the theoretical classroom knowledge. Science is a system aliased study based on facts and observations. It involves curiosity, inquisitiveness and unbiased analysis. As part of Biology, the students study detailed structures, both morphological, histological and physiological aspects of plants and animals. Study of slides under the microscopes or studying the museum specimens instills a joy of learning the flora & fauna around.

Technology specialists use the computer lab for teacher in-services where they instruct teachers on various aspects of using computers in educational settings.
